Presidential Proclamation No. 764 signed on January 24, 2005 declares the month of July every year as Police Community Relations Month. PCR Month celebration aims to develop closer interaction between the police and the community in handling peace and order concerns.
The PCR Month celebration is an opportune time to strengthen community participation in crime prevention with a theme "Police and Community: Sharing Responsibility, Taking Action in Unity". It also forges stronger partnership and community support in peacekeeping and public safety programs of the PNP.
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) is the lead agency of the celebration pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 764 dated January 24, 2005 declaring the month of July of every year as Police Community Relations (PCR) Month.
